Research
Sometimes we do research as a base for something else;
sometimes it stands alone: but research is usually the backbone of all our
projects.
For Skills for
Health,
we researched a thorough, free-standing, literature review, subsequently
published, to identify what is known about the links between investment in
high quality healthcare education and high quality outcomes for patients.
For the South East England Regional Assembly
(SEERA), we prepared the
"Context and Issues" paper for the Assembly's Select Committee
on Social Enterprise. The paper was published in advance, so that others
could comment, and used to brief Committee members. We also supported the
Committee of the day of its examination. Click here to see the paper (will
open in a new window): PDF, 120
KB.
For the Sector Skills Development
Agency, we undertook
a wide-ranging review of “employer engagement”, now published, going
well beyond the skills field, and including a literature review completed
for us by
Kingston
University.
For the Council for
Administration, we researched the field of Business Continuity Management,
as the basis for the Council’s later work to create National
Occupational Standards for the business continuity profession.
